As with most bluetooth headsets, the Voyager 520 comes with a noise cancellation microphone to help block out the outside noises that are all too familiar.  They've also implemented an innovative wind screen which helps block out the excess wind noise that you and your callers hear so often while you are using the phone outside.  This can be a terrible distraction, but Plantronics did what it takes to make sure you get the clearest calls possible.
